Construction on The Residence at Colvin Run, the new 53,104 sq. ft. assisted living and memory care facility to be built at 1131 Walker Road, has begun. Developed by Verity Commercial in partnership with IntegraCare, the senior complex will have 62 apartments over three levels, with amenities such as multiple dining venues, demonstration kitchen, art studio, theatre, fitness center, and computer/tv rooms. Proximity activated access control and mobility assistive devices, such as automatic door openers, will ensure security while making it easier for residents to move around safely.

IntegraCare, which currently operates 12 communities in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia, opened its much larger 210-unit Hunter Woods at Trails Edge facility in Reston two years ago. The Residence at Colvin Run, is anticipated to be completed in 2022.
