The McLean Safeway store at 1330 Chain Bridge Road is preparing to close. Signs at the location inform shoppers of the upcoming closure. The Safeway closure is expected to happen on April 30.

As first reported by Tysons Reporter, a Lidl grocery store is slated to take its place. Shopping center owner HR Retail’s website shows Lidl as a future store, and the shopping center has several smaller tenant spaces available.
