NOVA Parks unveiled two signs along the W&OD Trail on Saturday, February 12th about how Jim Crow laws affected passengers taking the Washington & Old Dominion (W&OD) train line in the 1900s. The new signs describe how segregation on the local railways acted to prolong discrimination against people of color in Northern Virginia, well into the 1960s.
