Fairfax County Public Schools is seeking individuals to serve as classroom monitors and substitute teachers. To meet this demand, the school systems is hosting a Classroom Monitor and Substitute Job Fair on December 18, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Classroom monitors provide in-person classroom assistance for students when a staff member remains virtual. Candidates who are interested in a classroom monitor position or would like more information can review the job description and qualifications and apply online.

Substitute teachers are deemed important to the success of the total school program and provide coverage in place of the regular scheduled employee. Substitutes can choose to work at various FCPS locations in either a virtual or in-person capacity. Candidates interested in becoming a substitute teacher are encouraged to visit the substitute information page and apply.
