Great Falls marks the official start of the 2022 holiday season with its 32nd annual tree lighting on Sunday, Dec. 4. This free event, organized by the Celebrate Great Falls Foundation, will be held at the Village Field behind the Post Office, and includes seasonal music, visits with Santa, and a live Nativity.
Hot cocoa, cookies and other holiday treats will be provided by sponsors. Participants can enjoy seasonal activities and entertainment including writing letters to Santa, making crafts and petting some gentle creatures, all while awaiting the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
