Krop’s Crops is a seasonal farm located in Great Falls, Va.  The 20-acre facility was opened in 1986 as a roadside produce stand by Larry Krop, and is currently managed by daughter Lauri . The operation sells fresh produce from local farms in the summer, pumpkins, fall decorations, and hayrides in the autumn, and Christmas decorations (including Christmas trees) during the holiday season. Visit their website for more details on their range of offerings.

For the Fall season, Krop’s has hayrides to the pumpkin patch, Winchester apples, fresh-pressed apple cider, fall squash and gourds, harvest and Halloween decorations, farm animals and a corn bin to play in. Krop’s sells pumpkins of all sizes — from tiny to outrageously huge. Those stocking up may choose from the pumpkins in the shop or out in the patch.

Walk-in hayrides operate on weekends in the month of October from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Rides to the pumpkin patch cost $5.00 per person; children 3 years old and younger ride free. The ride lasts approximately 20 minutes. This does not apply to the Reserved Private Groups. Krop’s is currently taking reservations for group hayrides and campfires. Contact Lkrop@hotmail.com with questions.
