Both the Great Falls 2020 Vision Survey, conducted by Great Falls Citizens Association in 2007 and GFCA’s 2019 Looking Forward to 2025 Survey revealed that Great Falls residents are interested in more food and restaurant options. Fortunately, over the past ten years the community has seen a variety of new restaurants open, the latest being Señor Ramon Taqueria. Leesburg’s popular street taco restaurant opened its fifth location last Thursday, at 9900 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls.

Its menu choices feature a wide selection of tacos, nachos, empanadas, salads, tortas (sandwiches) and other items. The Great Falls outlet also includes several of the most popular items from the Bites Wine and Grilled Cheese Bar that used to occupy the space that is now home to the taqueria, according to Lenny Mejia, Executive Corporate Chef. Hence, the Bites signage that still graces the side of the building.

Señor Ramon’s new Great Falls location features a casual, comfortable space, along with a nice outdoor patio for warm days. The dining room also features a full bar so patrons can enjoy their favorite beverages with their tacos.

Besides the new Great Falls shop, the taqueria’s other locations are in Leesburg, Sterling, Reston, and Chantilly. All strive to give their guests an authentic experience, using homemade recipes with fresh ingredients and a variety of house-made salsas. The restaurants have received high marks from online reviewers.
