As of July 1, the new Zoning Ordinance is in effect with new regulations on accessory living units, home-based businesses, accessory structures, and much more. A new website called enCodePlus hosts the new Ordinance, allowing everyone to access the zoning regulations in a simple format. Upcoming lunch and learn events and educational meetings are scheduled for the months of July and September, and information is available on the zMOD Outreach Page. Release 2 of the county’s new, online Planning Land Use System (PLUS), launched on July 1, adds more than 25 planning and land use applications and related information to the online platform. Please visit the PLUS Support Center page to get all the information about the applications included in this release. If you need help learning how to use and navigate PLUS, several trainings are scheduled throughout the month of July.
